Calling all Westies!!!!! Lights, camera, sit pretty.......ready for my close up Mr. DeMille! Westie Rescue of CA has arranged this photo shoot at the beautiful Treasure Island Park - Laguna Beach, CA. Nationally celebrated professional photographer, Zandria Beraldo, will be snapping our darlings for (2010 year) Browntrout Westie Calendar submission. Photos are the copyright property of Zandria. However, as in the past, she will give thank you photo(s) of 'unsubmitted' shots of your Westie(s).
Reservation shoot times assigned with paid $10.00 per dog reservation. Reservation fee can be paid via website under PayPal donation/indicate Photo Shoot in subject area. Unfortunately, a setting-fee reservation is now required due to the volume of dogs, assigned preappointment times and 'no-shows' which wastes the photographer's time and other owners as well. We provide a fabulous location, light snacks, sodas and water plus the photographer.
Owners supply recently groomed, clean, well behaved (ha, ha) Westie(s). The shots will be stills. Zandria will be attending our next day's Paws In The Park Picnic - Huntington Beach, May 4, Sunday. Sign up for 'action shots' is required for Sunday as well.
Bring your Westie, decorative and/or designer leash/collar combinations (minus owner ID and microchip tags please), bandanas, themed props, toys, etc. It is also advisable to bring; a folding chair, dog water/bowl, waiting kennel/crate, exercise pens, wear comfortable shoes and sunscreen. Your dog will be placed in various park area landscape locations, with props or without to exude the best photos attainable. Zandria does work with each dog personally. The owner may be ask to help pose the dog OR NOT, depending upon the dog's behavior (and owner's). You may leave with your dog after your assigned shoot is over.
Sign Up and Reservation By APRIL 30th. Each owner will be assigned a time slot for your dog(s). Camera prep (comb outs, etc) prior to assigned time will be necessary. Dogs will not be photographed with Flexi-leashes. So don't bring them!
