Our family is 'owned' by a westie, GROMMIT.
My Mother-in-Law in Minnesota actually raises Westies and her final litter had a runt out of 7 pups. Born at 2 oz and fed by an eye dropper, she couldn't part with the puppy but couldn't keep it. So, when I got home from Iraq, Grommit was my gift from her.
The photo is of my son, Theo, who is the puppy's best friend. Great dogs, growing up on a farm, I never thought I'd like little dogs but Westie's are only small in size, not in heart, spirit or in their own minds.
