I am an adult spayed very young 8 year old female Westie. My former owners were moving out of state and the moving van didn't have room for me. I am very sad, because I have only known one home in my whole short life. I don't know why my owners didn't want to take me, I have always tried to be a very good obedient dog. I am house trained, can use a doggie door, like to ride in the car and I try not to bark too much. But I guess chasing and barking at the neighborhood cats 'did me in'! I am trying to fit in with my 'foster' home and the other Westies here. I like that I have my own bed, but best of all my 'foster' Mom lets me sleep on her bed sometimes too (I try to be really still, so she will forget about me and I can stay on the bed longer). I like to take walks and 'sun' myself during the days. And I play with all the toys in the toy basket. And my foster mom gives me raw carrots to play with too! She laughs when I throw them into the air and then roll on my back with the carrot in my mouth.
