Hi Westie Lovers...My name is TOBIAS... but you fine folks can just call me TOBY
I am a darling AKC registerable, altered male, purebred Westie. My birthday is 12-23-1998. I
was a single owner relinquishment, due to long working hours, travel and no time for training,
walking or enjoying me. I am a larger sized Westie and now know that I can not jump on people
to greet them.....bad Toby! Okay....I get it! I get it!
I just love riding in the car,, do not really mind cats, can play fetch (I brought my
own fuzzy toy with me) and I watch T.V. I do not like very loud noises (trash trucks,
motorcycles, firecrackers, etc). I am crate trained (but I would rather sleep on your
bed) and house trained and like taking walks. I can use a doggie door now too. I have
all my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella) and came with background medical information.
These kind folks say my perfect adoptive home would be one that is Terrier knowledgeable, perhaps
with another dog in residence (I have that now in my foster home), I need consistent daily exercise
and play-time....see it keeps me outa trouble. I also could take you to a class or two in basic
obedience training. That way, I guess, everybody wins. I have a very gentle demeanor with people
and other dogs. I love to get petted and will gladly roll over so you can rub my tummy.
