Sweet little Maisie (Scottish for Pearl) has a wonderful home with loving parents Mom Leslie and Dad Sal
and their 17 year old daughter.
Maisie has put on some weight despite walking 2 miles every day. I have told everyone in the house not to give her anymore treats. Plan on getting her in dog training classes ASAP although she does pretty good.
Maisie is very spoiled already. My daughters do not let her feet touch the ground from the time they come home. She loves hugging everybody, so they just carry her around like a baby.
Picture is with my Mom, Leslie but they promise to take a photo of all
of us for my website very soon!
Original Story Below
Hello Everyone.....My New Name is....TIPPY...
Guess you can tell by my photo that I was
caught by the dog napper. But alas no one came to claim me. I was very sad, but these kind folks with
Westie Rescue of CA bailed me out and have started caring for me. I like them lots!!!
In a very short time, I went from a very slight and skinny, stray found running the streets to a loved
1 yr old female Westie. I am recovering from recent altering surgery, here with a foster family. I like
it here. I have my very own crate that I can catch a 'cat nap' in anytime I want. There are other Westies
that live here too and I can have as many of their toys as I can carry.
I have had all my shots (Rabies-1 yr, DHLPP, Corona, Bordetella, Lyme, Giardia). I have a microchip.
I ride in the car just great, can walk on a leash well and I am learning to use a doggy door. I get a
great meal here, it is called The Westie Diet. I like it lots, my foster Mum says it hopefully will
add some weight to my very small body (14 lbs). I guess I am missing something with these creatures
called CATS....just doesn't do it for me. I would rather crawl up in your lap and get lovin' than be
chasing some dumb cat! Sorry cat owners!
I would do well in a home filled with love and time to really bond. I am very friendly, wag my tail
at just everyone. I am calm around other dogs my size, but I give the bigger dogs lots of room, I even
will let them take my food bowl (past life I guess). Foster Mum says I could do well in an apartment or
condo with appropriate exercise daily. I got a new collar and leash plus a few toys I will need to
bring.....just when can I come home with you?
Lots of face licks and tail wags
