Taylor

I have a new identity and name too. My name is TAYLOR...

I was found wandering along a street in a busy business section of a large city. Although I had a new collar, I didn't have a tag, identification or microchip. So, I was taken to the shelter, where I waited for my owners to come. I waited, and waited, and waited.....geez, suppose it was something I did OR maybe didn't do? Can't imagine what though! That's cause my foster Mom says I am a really sweet natured, calm, gives kisses kinda guy.

The fine folks at Westie Rescue can tell I was not cared for very well. My fur was short, but I had underarm mats, my fur was dirty, nails were super long. the fur between my toes/feet pads were matted and both ears needed immediate medication for on-going infections. The worst part was my neglected teeth. She took one look and just shook her head. They are in dire need of cleaning; the tarter and along gum line build up was bad. Veterinary services will be provided prior to adoption. My foster Mom said it probably was hard to chew on 'those choppers'. That must be a joke, which I didn't get though.

I am up to date with my shots (Rabies, DHPP, Bordatella) and have a microchip. I am crate trained, walk on a leash well, like car rides (in my crate) and am friendly toward people (gives licks) and other dogs. I really like baths, being brushed and blow dried. I like my new food here; Westie Diet. I know it will help my fur grow and my skin not itch. I am on flea control (Frontline-Plus) because I did have some fleas, which was causing my itching and scratching. My foster Mom says I would do well in a home with no small children 8 yrs or younger, no cats and someone who can provide daily exercise and walks.

Hey, I'll just wait here until you come to adopt me.....please hurry. TAYLOR
