Rudy & Elvis (now Campbell & Wallace) Original Story
Rudy & Elvis (now Campbell & Wallace)
It would be ashamed to break up this pair of buddies. These
guys should stay together.
Elvis (Red) & Rudy (Blue) at Foster Home
Hi everyone!. Our names are Rudy and Elvis. We were born in 1995 & 1996. We lived all of our happy lives with one owner who sadly could not keep us. He boarded us at a nice boarding kennel and then never came back…that was in November 2004. Luckily, the boarding kennel took great care of us for eight (8) months until Westie Rescue of CA (yes it is true) came to our 'rescue'.
We are sweet, smart, polite dogs and we are devoted to each other. We love to romp, play and ride in the car. We get along with both our fostered resident male and female Westies. Plus, our foster Mom can't believe this.....we do not bark much (can you imagine that in a Westie?). Bath and grooming is a breeze and we are not afraid of the Veterinarian either. We walk well on leashes, can use a dog door (learned that in half an hour), are crate trained and, this is the best part, are totally house broken, even after being in the boarding kennel for 8 months!!!! Told ya we were smart! We do people pleasing tricks; sit, stay, shake hands and play like 'crazy dogs' with our soft squeaky toys. There is one little thing, we do not like birds….period.
At night, we sleep in our individual crates, but really would prefer an owner's warm bed. We love to cuddle on the couch with our foster Mom or watch our foster Dad cooking in the kitchen. We are very good eaters and LOVE the Westie Diet. Our foster Mom took us to the Veterinarian for a check up and our shots updated (Rabies 3 year, DHLPP-P Annual, Bordatella, and Corona) we were such good guys. The Veterinarian pronounced us ‘healthy’. My foster Mom says we are recovering from 'bad hair cuts'.
We desperately want to find the right adoptive home that will be able to keep these little ones together. They are the most precious, fabulous dogs. Both have great personalities are loving, fun, and playful. They will make someone terrific companion pets.
"Ah, thank you, thank you very much", says Elvis and woof, woof says Rudy!
