At the shelter, before placement with Westie Rescue of CA

Robbie has been adopted by Patrick and Roger, who already have a female Westie named Choo-Choo

Hi There My Name Is Robbie. I was a stray found wondering the busy streets of a So. California coastal town. So the 'dog catcher' took me back to the shelter. I am very young, energetic and extremely playful. The Vet is guessing my age at 8 months, but definitely under 1 year old. My first experience with a family obviously was not good. I apparently was only an outside dog.....so I wanted to leave my 'mark' on anything upright! Boy, have I learned that is a "No, no, outside.....activity". I am now learning crate training, leash walking and supervision inside the house. I do well with other female dogs but I try to 'mount' them....because I had not been neutered previously. My diet has been changed to the Westie Diet, which I actually like. My coat is full and thick, but I do need a haircut....my foster mom says, "I have a sporting fringe tail...and not the carrot tail shape". So, I now have a Westie haircut. And, I am recuperating from neutering. I need a home which is terrier experienced in puppy training, can crate train, housetrain and will take the dog to puppy obedience training. I have been recently neutered, have had my Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella shots.
