PARKER (now Buffer)

Parker has found his forever Mom and Pop. Former Westie owners themselves, Lida and Frank are having fun with Parker. They have named him; BUFFER.

Original Story Below

Howdy Everyone.......My New Name Is.....PARKER.....

I kinda am special, or at least I think so. I was a shelter pull that needed to be immediately bathed and groomed. Okay, so what is the problem? I patiently waited for that to happen. Good heavens you would have thought I was dirty or something. After three shampoos, I cleaned up pretty nicely, if I do say so myself.

The nice people at Westie Rescue of CA saved me from a totally worst fate, we don't even want to go there! Ugh!!!!

I was altered previously, am up to date with shots (Rabies-1 yr, DHLPP, Bordetella), ride in a car just great, am crate trained, leash trained and have gone on a 4-5 hour car ride.....just fine. They think I am around 14 months old. I was really skinny when they saved me, so now I love the Westie Diet. I give plenty of licks and kisses, guess I am glad to have a foster home that is clean and pretty swell. I have other Westies here that I get along with, I run and play and love toys. I can be a little stingy in sharing my toys and if I am setting next to my Foster Mom. I want her all to myself. I am young, so that is something I and my new owner will need to work on. I really would like a fenced backyard, room to play, investigate and you will have to be active enough that can give me exercise daily . I like my squeaky toys and love it when you would play with me. I like to play ball too, not of course that I will 'drop it ' or give it back!

So, tell me are you my forever home? Gosh, I hope so......put in your application for consideration and I may be able to come home with you, Geez I hope so, I will just wait here with all my new toys and leash.....not pushing but I need a home all for myself......okay? PARKER
