Nora with her new forever family Dad Jay holding Butterbean and Mom Lucy holding Me (Nora)
Original Story Below
Hey....look folks..... I have a new name....I am now NORA...
I just came into this fine rescue program. Yikes, they are doing an extreme make-over on me. I promise I will look much better very soon! Give my experienced foster home a few days to find out about me and just how adorable I really am. So watch for more cute photos.
I have been to visit a Veterinarian and whisk to the doggie spa for de-tick and de-flea treatment, have been wormed, had my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP, Bordetella), I was found wandering with a male Westie (his name is now ..NICK.
I have just been altered and like my new crate training regime. I sleep in there at night, all cozy with some toys. They think my age is around 3-4 years old. I can walk on a leash now, I was pretty scared of everything when I first came into foster care. Guess I hadn't gotten out much, and certainly had not walked on a leash in the 'city'. My first motorcycle noise was really scary. Each day at my foster Mom's more of my personality comes out. I wag my tail at people approaching now, before I was scared of them. I was a tiny thing when I first came into foster care, I only weighted 11 pounds....now I am up to over 12.5 pounds. Guess it is the great new food here at my Foster Mom's... Westie Diet.. I chew slowly and savor every bite! I have three other resident Westies here to play with; a male and two females. I am getting used to all the play time and toys.
Just sign me, tickled to be off the streets.....Nora..
P.S. NICK wants to come too, if that's okay? We'll wait patiently here for ya.
