Hi Fellow Westie Lovers.....I AM your guy!...NILES here.....
I was purchased and loved from puppy hood by my previous owners, but through divorce, job layoffs and moving my care declined because there wasn't any money. My family fell upon hard times, and although I was loved, I didn't receive basic care. No money for monthly flea prevention, medicated shampoos, vaccinations or even Vet services. So these kind folks at Westie Rescue of CA stepped up to help me.
I arrived covered with fleas, was itching, scratching, had chewed my skin raw and had tapeworms. All that is in the past, I have a really kind and good foster family who are taking care of me. I am receiving medicated baths, got all my shots updated (Rabies-3, DHPP, Bordetella), altered and am a pretty happy camper! I am house trained, crate trained and can use a doggie door. I like riding in the car and going for walks in the local park 3 times per day. Aaah, life is good! I like people and kids as well.
My foster Mom says I need a fenced back yard in which to play. I would like an active family that will take me along on their adventures. I know obedience commands; sit, down, stay and come. Well that one 'come' thing, let's just say my Terr-ior selective hearing kicks in! Ha, ha.
Do ya like my new grooming photos? My Foster Pops bought me a new comfee dog bed too. I didn't arrive with anything other than my good looks....no toys, treats, food, etc. Got all that now at my loving foster home.....woof, woof! I already like it here!
