It has been a long journey for me, but at last, I have found my forever home with Marcia. She is the most wonderful person I have ever known. Her entire family has welcomed me with love and affection and I love all of them.

Hi Westie Fanciers.....My Name Is NIKKI...
I ended up in an animal shelter, because I was found wandering down the street some 300 miles from my owner. The shelter contacted my owner, but I waited and waited....but nobody ever came to my rescue....except Westie Rescue of CA. And, it is a really good thing too, cause I looked pretty sad, dirty, matted and scared when their nice volunteer took me home.
Let my new life begin!!!! Yahoo! I met the three other Westies in my foster Mom and Pop's house. I kinda like them now that I am not so scared. They will play with me and I like chasing them.
They took me to their Veterinarian and think my age is 8-9 years young.
I am an altered female, have my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP and Bordetella) and a medicated bath and new 'Wesite-hair-do'. Life is good again! The Vet found a non-cancerous large bleeding mole on my side that was surgically removed and my teeth were cleaned too. Now I can give great kisses!
So, I am now ready for my new forever second chance family to come get me. I would like someone who knows Terriers and possibly has had or has another Westie so I can have a play mate.
I am on this great tasting Westie Diet, am house trained, can do cute doggy tricks, walk on a leash well, like sightseeing and riding in a car and enjoy my tummy being scratched. Do ya think I am the one for you and your heart? Okay, get that application in cause I want to start settling in to my new digs....oops no pun intended!
