I was rescued from the Las Vegas Dewey Animal Shelter on the last day out there as that shelter was closing down. The nice folks who felt sorry for me, already had a full house with three dogs. They just wanted to save me and their intentions were to place me themselves in an appropriate adoptive home. They thought because I was young, estimated 3 years old, I would need an active family with some children. Ooops, they did place me in that type of home. Wow, I had a small kido for my very own. I could chase 'um around the house and nip at his crumb covered fingers. I liked it when he squealed and ran fast. Okay, so that didn't work and I was returned.
That is when they asked Westie Rescue of CA and their Nevada affiliate volunteers to help with my appropriate placement. Gosh, they found just the right home for me. I have an older Westie sister now, named Kaci. She is 6 years old. We like each other and she plays with me. My new adoptive Mom and Dad are Fred and Mary Ellen.
Life is great again........thanks a whole bunch Westie Rescue of CA. My new Mom and Dad promise to send photos soon!
