Hi My Name Is...MANDEE. I am an adorable AKC registerable, altered, female Westie. I celebrated my birthday on July 28 (2002). I was the one and only 'apple' of my owner's eye.....and then came the kids...ugh! I guess I don't really like the 'small people'....okay, I bit the new toddler. Kept bugging me.....so I fixed that, but in the process lost my happy home....shoot! Very small kids make me nervous. I prefer the quiet life. So, I really don't need one for my very own in my new forever home....my foster Mom said to say that. I do pretty good with older kids, say over the age of 12 years old; they understand me and I understand them...not their music!. I really like all the attention for myself, so I need to be placed in a home with no other dogs that way I can have all my Mom and Dad's attention.....and that is a good thing as far as I can tell.
I am current on all my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP, Lyme, Corona and Bordetella), I can walk on a leash, but do tend to pull, I am being crate trained, am house trained, know these commands; set, down, stay, come (Aaah heck I respond 80% of the time), I am a talk'n Westie when I want something you have or my food, I have been known to dig (my Terrier instincts take over when I smell prey).
The ideal home for Mandee would be a loving, patient previous Terrier owner, who is available to continue working on her house manners to control un-necessary barking behavior, continued crate training, continue feeding the Westie Diet, and regular exercise is a must! Mandee needs to work on her 'girlish' figure, because she didn't get appropriate exercise due to the previous owners work schedule. Hey ya wanna be my 'Westie Staff', well then what are you waiting for???? Get that application into their PO Box. I will be waiting by the door, with the leash, okay?
