This note
has been somewhat delayed - sorry. We rescued
Lucky from your organization in April 2001.
Enclosed is a recent photo of this loving
and sweet dog. I (we) are completely bonded
to him and adore him. After we lost both
of our original Westies, within two months
of each other, Lucky was there to comfort
me (us).
Lucky unfortunately
has a serious lung problem. He went to UC
Davis ICU last July for breathing problems.
After more than $3,000, we and the respiratory
Vets still don't know what exactly is wrong
with Lucky. He is on chronic antibiotics
to hold infections at bay. There were hints
of this problem in his medical records from
his old owners, but it was never pursued.
Regardless, he is a blessing us every day,
loves his squeaky ball and gets comments
every day on what a good and sweet dog he
is. He loves to play and sleeps on our bed.
Please know we will go to the 'ends of the
earth' for this dog's medical health. That
would never be given a second thought. He
truly is a treasure in our lives.
Thank you
so much for your work with the Westie's,
they are such wonderful and neat creatures.
