My new name is Toto and I was adopted by the greatest family, Coco and Butch. I am one lucky Westie - out of the shelter and into the best place in the world.

GRADY....here folks!...
I am a wonderful 4 year old, altered, purebred Westie that hasn't had such a good start in life. But these kind folks at Westie Rescue of CA came to my rescue. I was neglected after being adopted from the shelter initially when I was 9 months old. I ended up in another shelter, in another city with some skin issues do to the wrong diet, no flea products and appropriate grooming and attention.
The shelter found my original owner, due to my microchip, contacted them and waited for them to come pick me up. I was very patient, I waited too. But alas, they never came for me! But that ended up okay with me, cause I really like my foster family. They are taking very good care of me.
I have had all my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP, Bordetella), have a transferable microchip and am on flea medication. My skin is responding to the medicated shampoo baths, and a really good diet (The Westie Diet...yum).
I have resident Westies here at my foster home; male and females. I like them all, I am a very mellow guy, that likes attention. My foster Mom will take photos after I am groomed like a Westie so you can see just how beautiful I can be. Keep watching for my continuing story.
