Hello and thank you for looking. My new name is DUNCAN...
Duncan was a neglected stray
who Westie Rescue of CA pulled from a high-kill shelter. We have determined he is a young dog, thought
to be no older than 2 years. He is currently receiving house and crate training with his great foster
family.
He now walks on a leash, but needs to be reminded to 'heel'. Was recently altered,
microchipped, all shots (DHLPP, Rabies-1 year, Bordetella). He is willing to please and really loves
treats......so he will be easy to train. He is being changed over to Westie Diet, yum yum!
He likes squeaky toys, too much says his foster Pop)! He gets along with the other resident male,
altered Westie at his foster home. They roll, tumble and play fight....then go and drink out of the
same water bowl. Um.....water bowl not toilet folks!
He would be ideal with an experienced Terrier adult owner, one who has a back yard or plenty of time
to give daily exercise. Will need patience to continue crate training, leash commands and is willing
to take him to obedience training (graduation would be nice too....grin).
He is a sweet, loving dog that never was given the chance. Could you give him that chance?
Hope so.
Sign me, gratefully waiting........DUNCAN
