Derek

Hi All....hey guys my new rescue name is ....DEREK as in the T.V. show Gray's Anatomy and Dr. McDreamy? Yep that about says it all!!!.

My DOB is 01/31/2006, so I am really still very young and active. Much too much Terrier for an elderly widow to handle with failing health. I was presented to Westie Rescue of Ca unaltered, well that quickly changed. Whew, I am now altered, up to date with all my shots (Rabies-1 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), have my own GPS tracking system via 'Home Again Microchip'. And, am now crate trained, leash trained and love my .

I am so thankful that I was rescued and brought to CA, see I came from AZ. NOTE: Westie Rescue of CA covers adjoining states now. I now am crate trained, leash trained (I don't pull any longer), am altered and have all my shots.

I need a very active family, with an enclosed yard for me to romp and play. I do well with the other male and female Westie here. But my foster Mom does keep me in line, so I am not going to get out of control with playing rough and 'doing drive by's' as she calls it.......I on the other hand call it....racing by my Westie mates and trying to grab at them.

The absolutely perfect home would be; a large yard, an experienced terrier owner who is not afraid to train their new very young dog, time to go to professional obedience training, continue the Westie Diet and crate training. Okay with that said......so, darling are you it??????? I promise to be on my very best behavior!

Can I come to say forever with you?

Lotsa love, DEREK ...
