Toby with his new family!!!

Hi My Name Is Toby..... I am a 1 1/2 year old neutered male Westie that was found running the streets. I wasn't very well taken care of because I had fleas all over, my fur was matted and both ears had major ear infections. But I was taken out of the shelter by a very nice lady with Westie Rescue who's house I am in now. She immediately took me to the Veterinarian for all my shots, a thorough examination and some ear medication. Then she brought me to her house for a really long bath and I am now groomed just like a Westie. Actually I fell asleep, well my eyes shut, while I was being groomed....it felt so good (especially the part that I don't have to scratch and itch anymore because of fleas). I like it here, it's fun and I get lots of attention and 'good boy treats', I have Westie playmates and I'm on a new diet that tastes really good. I only weighted 15 pounds when I was found so I am trying to gain some weight too. I am recovering from neutering so I get special treatment. I have a nice clean bed with my very own ball and lots of toys to play with too. I like to take walks and can walk on a lead really well. I like car rides. My foster Mom is working on teaching me to use a doggie door, but I am for the most part house trained and am being crate trained too. I like to snuggle and be next to you no matter what you are doing. I give kisses and am friendly to everyone who comes to the house.....of course they are there only to see me right? I am very calm and can play by myself but I really like other dogs. I like to roll over and have my tummy rubbed, sometimes I will fake going to sleep then too. My foster Mom says I have a darling face and as soon as my hair grows out properly I will be a 'cutie pie'.....whatever that means!
