Teddy has been placed in a wonderful home.  His diabetes routine, with two shots daily was a major consideration in his placement and well being.  His new mom is someone who is known personally by the original owner. Teddy knows her and her other Westie "Jack".  He has stayed there before, while his owner traveled for work obligations.  He was always comfortable and happy there.  It is a very dog-centered environment.  Since he was previously familiar and comfortable in his surroundings, it was felt this placement would eliminate some of the trauma which could be associated with a dog with diabetes.  Stress is not good for diabetic animals, calm, consistent routine is best.  Updates have provided positive reports with Teddy, his new 'brother' and his new mom.  Happy endings for all.
