Cody with his new Family
My Name Is Cody. I am a very young male puppy who was purchased as a Christmas present for a young girl. I guess Santa messed up, because I don't live there anymore. I am doing okay in my new foster home. I really like it here, there is a big basket of doggie toys, lots of attention, love and cuddling. I even have my own crate and puppy toys plus other playmates too. By the time I am ready for adoption, I will have completed all my puppy shots. My foster mom is working on my house training (I only forget sometimes), I am a very, very active puppy. Because I am so young, I need to eat three small meals a day. I am already leash trained, can use a doggie door and enjoy playing and running in the back yard. Mom supervises me because I tend to put anything that looks interesting in my mouth.....plant leaves, rocks, dirt, and of course toys. I live with other Westies and really like that they will play with me. My foster Mom is working with me regarding my barking......I just figure a 'bark' will get attention! Boy, and how! I didn't start out very good because I had ear mites, worms, girardia and terrible diarrhea . My first family was overwhelmed, but now I live with a new foster mom and I am doing much better. I am too young to be neutered, but that is a requirement of adoption. I will have all my puppy shots. I am looking for a special family, perhaps with some one who will be home with me during the day and other doggies (Westies). I am on a Westie puppy diet formula which should continue until I am around 4-5 months old. |
