At the Pasadena Shelter

Just Slightly Happier

This is the Best There Is!

Hi Everyone... Here's an update to my adoption:

I am a darling (my adoptive Mom says that) male, recently altered Westie. I was found by the nice 'dog napper' and taken to a shelter, for what seems to be a very long time where I waited for my owner to find me. People came to look at me, but it never was my owner. Westie Rescue of CA knew I was a handsome lad, and told my now adoptive Mom and Dad about me! Whew, am I a happy fella now.

I noticed a smiling, calm, nice lady came to look at me, I didn't know it at the time, but that's my 'now' adoptive forever Mom, Michele. I just knew she was the one for me and I think she was smitten, too. She stayed with me for awhile, talked to me and tried to scratch me behind my ear. I think she thought I was the 'new' Westie they had been waiting for with Westie Rescue of CA. She left, but shortly returned back again and brought my now Dad to take a 'look see' at me, too! He thought I was just swell. They stared and I did too...I tried to act cute, loving, and interested. It must a worked, cause they took me to my new forever home.

I am recently altered, have all my shots (DHLPP, Rabies, Bordetella and Corona) and a wonderful life now. My Mom gave me a much needed bath and I sat very still for her. Actually I like it here, they have a garden that I can explore and I can sun myself in the back yard. Aaaaah, life is good again.

Thank you Westie Rescue of CA I give you a 'five paws' rating! Wags and licks, Bertie.

P.S. My Mom and Dad say 'thanks' too!
