Thanks to everyone that helped me find my forever family, especially Westie Rescue of CA.
Some of my brothers and sisters are still looking for their forever homes, maybe it's with you?
Have a great holiday, I know I will...Lots of Licks.. Becky
Original Story Below

We have a darling little girl that one of our volunteers named ....BECKY Sunshine.
She was pulled from a out-lying shelter because no one wanted to adopt her. She did look a wreck, poor thing! But baby look at her now!!!!
She was recently altered, is a purebred female Westie. A tiny little thing, weighs only 15.8 lbs. She is housetrained, loves riding in the car, sleeps upside down in her crate...it is the cutest thing! Since she was a stray we are estimating her age between 5-7 years. We are basing this on her tarter and teeth wear. We have had her teeth professionally cleaned, polished and one back molar was extracted. That tooth was causing chewing and sinus pain. We also have had a very small mammary tumor removed as well.
Whomever owned her did take the time to leash train, crate train and housetrain at some point in her life. But they didn't take very good care of her grooming needs. She was found running the streets in the high desert, completely matted and in need of a major bath! We have been able to save most of her fur, which was in bad condition most probably from being in the outside elements.
She is current on all her shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP, Bordetella 1 & 2, Corona 1 & 2), she also has a microchip now. She is very calm, and hardly ever barks. She likes both the male and female Westies at her foster home. She is very respectful of cats, larger dogs and children. She runs through the house with a squeaky toy in her mouth and will retrieve it when you throw it. She loves the Westie Diet, now that her teeth are better.
She would do well in a calm, nurturing home, who can give her daily exercise and walks. She loves to be right next to you; either on the couch while watching TV or on the bed (if you would let her). She does sleep all night in her crate and often goes in to take a nap. She loves to be in your lap. So do you have a free lap for this little girl? If so, get in your application.
She will be waiting for you........Love Ya Lots, BECKY
