Bailey

Hi potential adopters, my name is; BAILEY as in Bailey's Irish Cream....yum!

This darling little, puppy (DOB 03-27-05) was an owner relinquishment. I came to the United States from Ireland with some medical issues. Gosh, seems my additional care needs just wasn't going to work for my owner. That's okay, the kind people at Westie Rescue of CA are taking care of my health issues; Kennel Cough, Giardia, Toxicity and worms...oh my!

After a short stay in the Vet's hospital, I was transported to a wonderful WR of CA volunteer's foster home. I am being nursed back to the healthy puppy that I should have been initially. I have started puppy shots appropriate for my age, am learning house training (crumb!), already am crate trained (which is making house training easier), am learning that a collar and leash are considered 'walking' necessities rather than my play 'toy' (darn it) and am being fed an appropriate Westie Puppy diet which will help me grow strong. I am a wiggle worm of sorts (my foster Mom said to put that in) because of not enough human interaction with a short attention span (so okay, I AM a puppy!). Gentle but firm and consistent training is required. I like playing with my squeaking toys, a ball and my foster Mum. She is very nice, I like her lots, but want a home of my own.

I currently need three small meals daily, but that will change as I get stronger and grow, have to have continued house training, continued crate training, house manners reinforcement and formal puppy obedience training. Because of my beginning health issues, I am not currently altered, but may be prior to adoption (will depend upon the advice of Veterinarian). I do well with other dogs who tolerate a active, energetic, playful, sharp teethed puppy's antics. Grin... Are you my forever keeper? I promise I will be as good as the 'devil dog' in me allows!...LICKS AND LOVE....BAILEY.

HEY.....IF YOU CAN'T ADOPT ME WOULD YA CONSIDER A DONATION? PLEASE IT WOULD HELP MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS.
