Gary and Sylvia with Anabelle and her new brother Cromwell

My name is Annabelle. I am a loving 5 year old, spayed female. I was found in a residential area in Pasadena. I was seen wandering for about 2 days by the residents. They finally called the animal shelter to come and pick me up. I didn't have a collar, micro-chip or tattoo, plus I looked like I had been on the streets for awhile. No one came for me.....but I waited every day very patiently. I was adopted by a volunteer with Westie Rescue of CA. I was taken to the foster home and given a bath because I was itching. There was another Westie there too. I like my new house, I have my very own crate and my Mom feeds me in it. She has to do that because I tend to want to eat the other Westie's food too and I will protect my 'second bowl' by growling. Shoot...she caught me! I can walk on a leash pretty well, but tend to pull in my excitement (so I will have to work on that). My Mom took me to the Vet for a check up; now I am current on my shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Corona-virus and Heartworm. I can use a doggie door but I really like being indoors with my new family. I would do well with a family with no small children 7 years or under, an exercise program, and the Westie Diet needs to be continued. The Vet says I have very dry skin and fur (probably due to a bad diet). I like personal attention, toys and playing with my new Mom.
