CHELSON

CHELSON, at your service...
Love my foster home and Mom. A local breeder with lots of Westies along with other breeds called on Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States to come get me. I was used as stud at this breeding kennel, so came with an attitude and of course not altered. Well, that didn't last very long at all! I'm now neutered and am learning house manners.
This AKC Registered, purebred, male's DOB is 10.15.2007. Has vaccinations (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), been microchipped, wormed (positive Whip Worm-medication given), Giardia (neg) and heartworm tested (neg). While under, my very long nails were cut and a Foxtail was discovered embedded in the ear canal. Good thing they found it, could have punctured my ear drum. My teeth needed to be cleaned, due to improper diet and no previous dentals, major tartar buildup.
I'm learning very quickly, walking on leash, sleeping in my crate at night and love the new healthy diet The Westie Diet. Yummy! Was previously only an outside dog, who was left in a kennel run. So 'inside manners' needed polishing, but my Foster Mom is experienced in Boot Camp #101. Learning to follow the other Westies outside by using a doggie door. Note to self: why go out it's warm and I get food here...oh yeah, that outside lifting thing. At first I was such a scaredy cat! Did someone say Cat?????? (Can't have one, darn it) Sorry I digress....
I am a JUST WANNA BE LOVED.....kind of a guy. Should be the 'one and only' male dog in residence but gets along with females very well. My adoptive home will be required to take me to basic obedience class (once I get settled in to your home and heart). Could you help me find a family of my own to love on? Say, maybe your them? Send in your application. I'll just hang out in foster care until I hear that door bell, and hopefully it won't be the Fuller Brush Salesman.......IT'S FOR ME!!! Love to be able to love you, CHELSON.
