Stormy (now Daisy)

I have a new family! A Westie brother, named Sprite, he's 4 years old. Plus my Mom is Lin, Dad is Sam and we have 3 additional 'two' legged kido's as well. Life is good again, every day I get to play, roll and play tug-a-war with Sprite! My Mom and Dad just laugh at us! Thank you Westie Rescue for finding me the best home ever!
Licks and Lots of Love, Daisy

Original Story Below

Howdy...it's STORMY...

Gosh, this darn economy, effects us dogs too, President Obama! See my family divorced, then lost our home and my back yard. So, an adult, two teens and me moved to a tiny apartment...kinda rough on us active little Terriers. But then my adult owner was diagnosed with a terminal illness. Oh, boy! Well luckily my family reached out to Westie Rescue of CA. Happy feet here!

So on to all about me.....am a young 2 yr old, female Westie. Wasn't spay/altered until Westie Rescue, now all vaccinations up to date (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), have a microchip, new 'fur-do', am thinking....(note to self) pretty darn lucky. Don't you agree?

Foster Mom runs a pretty tight ship as I quickly found out! She says, "You my dear ran a muck long enough. This house has boundaries and schedules." Oooookay, accelerated classes that guess I must have missed prior; crate training, appropriate outside potty schedule, walking on a leash without pulling, working on my 'inside' bark versus my 'outside' bark and no longer 'free fed'. Guess, my bowl at meal time isn't necessarily the same thing as 'table beggin'. Coulda fooled me! And, darn it, can't dig up the garden's Posies any more. I was left outside a lot before so kinda had to keep myself occupied. Like squeaky stuffed toys, balls and tug ropes....hey ya got any of them? Seem to think around here, I need a Terrier experienced home, totally secure fenced back yard. Someone willing to work with at obedience training, continue house and crate training and give daily routine exercise. So, do ya know anybody like that? Me and my Foster Mom will wait for ya to complete an application.

Just sign me energy plus.....Happy Girl, STORMY.
