Stitch - adopted August 2009

Stitch

Well in spite of my shaky start in my short life and that car boo-boo thing...ya found me a perfect  family, one with a Westie male playmate too!  Here we are at my adoption, it was really hot, but I tried to look my very best. My family drove from another state, just to pick me up! They think I am so  special, boy do I have them fooled. That's my new Dad, Paul holding  'Mackie', Mac for short (WRCA placed 03.2004) and my Mom, Angie with yours  truly. They kinda liked my boo-boo hit by a car story, so I am keeping  my name.

Forever grateful, STITCH.

STITCH, in time that's me...

See had a major tangle with a car in my get away travels. Ok, have learned not a good thing! Only need to tell me once. Well the car won cause came out with a broken back leg and pelvic fractures. Thank goodness these nice folks came to my aid. Whew! Fortunate to have had a skilled surgeon who fixed me just like new!! Gone through rehab, healed and viola now perfect. My Foster Mom said that! Now run, jump, chase and play with the other Westies here in my foster home. If ya know anything about us Westies, ya know we have a plucky attitude and it takes a lot more than a broken leg to keep us down!

These folks figure am a purebred, female, altered Westie, who's about 3 years old. Nobody claimed me or volunteered to pay my whopping medical bills...giggle. So, thankfully, I get a new forever home, probably a good thing, huh? Maybe this time, one who has a fenced yard and doesn't leave the front door open. Am a smartie pants cause already know how to use a doggie door, like sunning myself on our patio deck, can secure the perimeter yard for varmints, house and crate trained, love walking on leash and going for a ride in the car. My Foster Mom has an over sized doggie seat, like ridding in it and even look out the car window. Yahoo....love it! (NOTE: check our website for the car dog seats).

If you are a computer geek, I will curl up and wait at your feet. Foster Mom almost didn't get the glam shots cause I kept turning over for 'tummy rubs'....kinda like those! If ya got extra rubs you could spare, that is a plus in my book!

If I could be the one-and-only Princess, that's perfect and suits me just fine...bro. And, it's okay if you have one of those two legged kidos, maybe 8 yrs and up? But the cat thing isn't working for me. My natural Terrier prey-drive kicks in and viola. That is trouble for the darn Puddy-Cat!

Have vaccinations (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), wormed and now have GPS (microchip). Can 'do' set, although could work on that some, yeah I will come when called and generally want to please ya. So all set to come to your house? Is that okay? Yeah, right on! Ya need to mail in a completed application from our website. Not that I don't like my Foster Mom and Pops....really, really want my own sofa to chill on. People, get in the application. Thanks for reading my story, didn't start out very well, but it is looking better each day now!!! YOU could make it perfect.....YOU!! Thankfully and wonderfully put back together, appreciating each day, STITCH.
