REX - Adopted March 2009

Here's my new Dad, David.  I get a new bro, too, his name is Willie and his owner is Jennifer, the daughter of David.  Life is very, very good.  I love my new Dad.  Thank you Westie Rescue......Yahoo, a new beginning! REX

REX at your service folks.......

I was literally shoved into one of the Westie Rescue volunteers arm's by a caring high-kill shelter worker. That's cause she knew I would never get adopted without these kind folks help. Kudos to Westie Rescue of CA being there for my much needed rescue efforts. This deserving sweet, gentle, loving, altered purebred, about 2 year old male Westie is darling! How could anyone just dump him? Sadly, it happens all the time. Thank goodness Westie Rescue didn't care how bad I looked, they knew they could help. Sigh, I was a sad sack case, but through their wonderful foster care program and great Vet care am better now. No more shaking my ears due to ear infections, or open sores due to fleas and secondary Staph infection. Viola, with proper care I am a 'hottie' once again. Teehee, my Foster Mom said that!

Now, up to date with shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), wormed and microchipped. I arrived house and crate trained, walk excellent on leash, love going to new places, like playing with toys and the other three Westies here in my foster care home. I use the doggie door and like lying on the patio in the sun. I eat my new food The Westie Diet....see our website for recipe and lick the bowl clean nightly. Yum! It sure has helped my skin too!!!

My new home should be willing to give me a bath weekly with medicated shampoo, promise to keep topical flea medication on me all year long. It's obvious somebody loved me cause I know the commands; sit, stay, come and heel. Yes, I am pretty smart. I like my house mate Westies who are male and female. I just would like a loving home, one with time to play with me and take me for walks.....not just on the weekends. I could sleep on your bed if you would let me. I just love being where you are and follow my foster Mom in the house. So, get in that application very soon, would like to go to my very own forever home soon. I have a new leash and collar , recently picked out a pumpkin for Halloween and have new toys which I can bring too. You just provide the fenced back yard and love me forever. Okay?

Just sign me wait'n......REX.
