ODDIE - March 2009

Alas, my Mom, Jodi and Dad, Jeffrey are camera-shy.  But nontheless, I love them. Thanks for finding me this great home!  ODDIE

Original Story Below

Oddie

This happy little sole is....ODDIE..

I am an owner surrender, now altered, male, purebred Westie. My birthday is 09.06.2005. My previous owners had to move in a hurry, and couldn't take me. The Westie Rescue of CA folks had 24 hours to figure out a plan! Whew, glad they did! Oh boy, they discovered not house trained ...huh imagine that, also shots not current, and looked a bit shabby. But my foster Mom, whisked me away to the Vet, groomers and now all up to date (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP-3 yr, Bordetella), on flea medication and have a microchip.

Now crate and house trained, walks on a leash really well, like going for walks, playing fetch, getting exercise and the doggie park. My foster Mom even takes me on errand in the car. Like looking out the car window while setting in my doggie car seat. Sometimes people, pull up in the other lane at a stop light, honk and wave. See my doggie car seat is on the passengers seat. Guess they think I am giving her driving lessons....giggle. I like to watch TV and hang out in the yard while she is weeding or a comfortable soft living room chair. Watch for the postman, who gives me treats...she is my pal. What I am really waiting for is my forever home. You could make me happy again by completing an application and sending it in? I have a new collar and leash, some squeaky toys and lots of love to give once again. My foster Mom says the ideal home would have Terrier experience, a fenced back yard, and enough time to give daily exercise. Also, guess basic obedience class could be on the program too. Does that mean more treats? If so, I might be your little man! Have treats, will travel. But need your mailed application pronto.

ODDIE... over and out.

Rehabilitation in these situations is costly, if you are able to donate, we sincerely appreciate it.
