Mollie (now Darcie )

MOLLEE now Darcie -

Loving life with her new family!  With her new Mom Janet,  out numbered by girls my Dad Chris, older sister Kristen and younger sis  Caroline.  Life is good.....actually GRRRRREAT!  Thank you Westie Rescue for finding my perfect forever family!!!

Wags and Licks,  MOLLEE now Darcie (I approve!)

Original Story Below

My new name is MOLLIE.....

I am a cute, female, altered Westie. Guess, I get a new lease on life, thank you Westie Rescue of CA and 7 Western States. I was a pitiful looking stray that landed in a very high kill shelter. Whew, glad to get out of there, see my owner never came looking. But, now have all shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), a microchip and am on flea medication. Ya know, being beautiful takes work...my Foster Mom's. She worked 2 hours just combing the mats out, that way I didn't have to be shaved. Was shampooed 3 times, blow dried, fluffed, folded and....viola! Just like new! My nails were a sight, had to cut 1/4 inch off...I didn't mind. That's me calm, relaxed, never tried to bite through all the tugging, mat pulling and toucher (just kidding). I was done in about 4 hours, a snap really...ha! My Foster Mum was 'dog tired' however! She mumbled something about wondering where were my puppies ended up, cause she saw I had had a litter recently. Don't know what happened, none land with me in the shelter. My birthday is 08.21.06, guess I am a young'n and have a wonderful live ahead of me....these folks promise.

Love going on walks, sniffing and playing with these new found fun things.....toys. They make noises, makes me turn my head. Learning appropriate leash walking, seems that's different than sled pulling! Maybe my new forever home could have a secure fenced backyard, enough time to play ball and give tummy rubs? Like ridding in the car, sleeping in my own crate and playing running and tag games with the other Westies. See there are male and female Westies here, it is fun, we chase each other around the dining room table! Am learning to use the doggie door to the sundeck. Haven't been around small kids, so guess I can't have one of my very own. Oh yeah, that 'cat' thing....that is outta the question too. Well, have I described that Santa-Paws wish list that fits your stocking? Then only thing left is get in that application (the one from our website..see below link). I'll just hang out here, but please come soon. Want my new life to begin very soon. I love you, ditto and double that!

Sign me happy girl to be somewhere....MOLLIE.
