Erma

Howdy, just landed in foster care....my name is ERMA...

I'm a cutie pie who was found wandering in a parking lot. Huh, the finder had a Westie... who knew!!! Took me to the Vet, no chip (I hate when that happens), no collar, tag and/or chip. The fliers and newspaper 'found' advertisement turned-up... nada! Got to stay in my finders home, thank goodness. Everything went along swell until my new Dad got transferred to an entirely new state, house and routine. Sigh...

So, two Westies in one new house, different hours, exercise routines and my new Mom wasn't there much cause she had family obligations. Well I am glad about one thing, they contacted the knowledgeable resource, Westie Rescue of CA. Whew, thank goodness these folks are so experienced at doing Westie...even surprised me and I AM A WESTIE!

I have vaccinations (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), have been wormed and now have a microchip. Promise I won't go wandering, too cushy in my foster home! Glam shots and my new 'do' really cool, no more hula skirt. Guess my face 'will grow back', that's my foster Mom's statement. Was such a good traveler, rode 6 hours (thank you to very nice dog lovers) who brought me to my foster Mom. Oops, immediately diet was changed to The Westie Diet. Love, love, love it! Also like scheduled exercise (sniffing walking, sniffing, walking, sniffing), now am crate trained, ride in car swell (but in a crate), walk on leash, good with both male and female Westies here. Came with one toy, but like the basket here. Also, playing chase or tag you are it. My foster Mom gives the best tummy rubs...who knew!

They are seeking the perfect home; for me. Aaah, that would be: large yard, experienced owner, someone who will take me to obedience training, give me daily exercise and continue feeding The Westie Diet. Tag....you're it! So, get in that application, to the PO Box and I will just hang out here till they tell me to gather my toys 'cause I am going to my forever home. Yahoo!......ERMA la duce.
