DIXON, the Dapper Westie...
Thanks for reading my cross-country search for my forever home. See was purchased in the East, that owner couldn't keep me, sent me to a relative on the West coast. They couldn't keep me either; too many animals and kids to give me individual attention. So, these nice folks at Westie Rescue of CA promise to find me my forever and forever home. I'm glad, cause kinda tired of the Hobo life. Deserve better, don't ya know.
Self proclaimed 'adorable and highly adoptable'. Yep, that's me! A calm, wonderful, loving 3.5 yr old, purebred male Westie. My birthday is: 11.08.2005, already neutered, crate and house trained and use a doggie door. Love riding in the car, liked my recent Vet visit (gave treats) and playing with the male Westie here in foster home. All vaccinations are current (Rabies-3yr, DHPP, Bordetella), even have a transferable microchip.
I like the resident cat in foster care, yeah know that is sooooo UN-Terrier like! We have a mutual respect for each other..teehee! Play fetch and will return the ball....yeah, another one of those UN-Terrier traits. I walk on a leash well, love the daily walks to the local park. Like greeting people, kids, other dogs and yes even cats! My Foster Pops taught me hand signals and some obedience commands (pretty smart huh?); set, stay, come and the obvious 'no-bark'! So, if I sound like the furry little fella for your home and hearts....get in that application. You and me forever, has a nice sound to it!
