DINI - 04.2009

Dini

Thank you for finding the right home for me!  Here is a picture of my new Mom, Joanna at our fav dog park. I get to go there often...Thank you Westie Rescue and my Foster Mom, Bonnie and Dad, Art.  Love you...Houdini aka Dini

Original Story Below

Dini

FLASH...HOUDINI reappears!

Yep, it's really me in the flesh, reappearing as a purebred, altered, cute, 2.5 yr old, male Westie (of course....what else!). No hocus-pocus my fine friends...just me, trying to get a new 'gig'. Can you help?

Owner surrendered; loosing house, moving to apartment, medical bills, job hours..all that combined and 'poof' arrived in Westie Rescue. Have been cared for and loved, already house and crate trained, all vaccinations (Rabies-3yr, DHPP, Bordetella), microchip, wormed, neutered/altered and brought my 'bag of tricks' own toys and goodies. Foster home as a male Westie, play chase through the house, go through the doggie door, play tough-a-war and hang out exhausted. Know some obedience command stuff; NO (that is a big one), Sit, Down....but respond...ah maybe 60% of the time! Okay, remember I am a Terrier..gads! Generally friendly to humans, but do bark at the doorbell and mail carrier. Okay with kidos over 8 yrs, mobility challenged people and not so much me 'likee' Cats. Chase um right out of the yard, dern furry interlopers! Like rides in the car cause we usually went to the doggie park....yahoo. Walking on a leash no problem and don't mind baths and blow dries. Yeah..bubble baths with champagne...nah just kidd'n. Looking for a lively family, with time for a new member . I do need daily structured exercise, have lots of energy to play. Stay on my great food The Westie Diet...check out website for recipe. Okay, once we do a 'Meet and Greet', you should bring a really BIG car so I can take all my stuff. But ya need that application mailed right away. My Foster Mom says I won't be with her very long..cause I am so cute and adorable.

So it's....1......2.....3....the amazing HOUDINI waiting to appear in your home soon!

Rehabilitation in these situations is costly, if you are able to donate, we sincerely appreciate it.
