Original Story Below

Hi I am SISSY...

Yep that's me; a darling, independent, purebred, female, spay Westie. How I ended up in rescue was sad, cause my owner died. He went to visit heaven and I couldn't stay at home anymore. A kind neighbor brought me and another male Westie, down into town and to these kind Westie Rescue of CA folks. My first day was a busy one, went all sorts of new places. My foster Mom and Pop's took me to 'the Westie salon'. That was fun, I got a bubble bath, blow dry , the whole spa treatment ..even a pedicure (passed on nail polish...gads not a Poodle)! Then was whisk away to a kind person, in a 'white coat', who gave 'booster vaccinations' (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Corona, Bordetella), shoot even got a dog treat after wards. Yum-oh!

So now that I have settled in to my foster house, which has two other Westies (male and female) and a cute but really annoying Westie Wanta-Be Mixture, a new diet, exercise plan....not sure about that palates thing, collar, leash and lot's toys....okay, now I am ready for my next adventure! They promise will have my ultimate forever home very soon. Seems, these rescue folks are kinda picky when it comes to placement and that's a good thing, for us rescues! My Howl-i-day Wish List.....hummm let's see; a kind owner(s), knows about us Terrier-types, either retired or works from home, yikes no little kid's running about, time for tummy rubs (mine!), daily walks...oooh, lots of walks and a fenced back yard. No unfenced pools please. Note to self: check out toy box! Okay will confess, Foster Mom says I missed out on daily exercise and play time while my owner was so sick.. Can you get me and you on a 'program'....okay, maybe not so much jogging...more sniffing and smelling on my part? Yep, strolling is good too! Gosh, I think Emeril, the Chef must live here too...cause really like the new food, The Westie Diet - check website for recipe my daily vitamins and treats, kinda would like to have those in my new digs (no pun intended). Are you available to love, cuddle and totally adore me? Well, honey, what ya wait'n for.....mail in that application quickly! Want to spend the 'Howl-i-days' in my new forever home.....is that you? Will just hang out on the couch, watch'n Animal Planet and such. I am yours any time dah'ling! Sign me....Diva In Training, SISSY.
