Original Story Below

Hi, thanks for checking me out! RICKY here...
I am just in to these fine folks program, so they need a few days to find out more about me. But they do know, my owner gave me up...something about...not altered, not crate trained and a 2.5 year old two legged kid! And that is my problem? Well I was washed, blow dried and whisk away to the Veterinarian for neuter/alter. I now have my very own crate for crate training lessons #101. I am only 1.5 years old, purebred, male that is now altered. I am active and like walking on a leash, but didn't previously get a do that often being in an apartment and with my owners working all day.
I have all my shots (Rabies-3 yr, DHLPP, Bordetella), have a microchip and will have a new 'Westie Grooming Make-over' as soon as it is possible due to my neutering surgery. Watch for that! I am also learning house manners, so there is no 'lifting' in the house, my foster home has a doggie door out to the back yard. I kinda like that, so maybe my adoptive home could have that too. I am young, so I need an active family that can give me daily exercise and love. I get along with the other male and female Westies here as well. I guess I will have to drag my new owners to an obedience class or two, that was my foster Mom's input folks. So, do ya think I might be the 'love of your life'....ok, then get off that computer and complete an application at the Westie Rescue of CA's website! I'll continue doing my thing here at my foster folks until you can come get me.....okay......deal.
Sign me, Happy and Smiling.....RICKY.
