Petula now Ruby

Here is Petula with her new Mom Jackie and Dad Jim.
She is fitting in just fine and they love her so much.

Original Story Below

Hi PETULA is my pretty new name

These most kind folks rescued me out of a shelter. I was not a forgettable little young unaltered stray Westie because I had been 'dyed' PINK.....can you imagine? Not really? Maybe they thought I was a Poodle or in the Juicy Couture Perfume Ads....not!!!

I have been altered, given all my shots (Rabies, DHPP and Bordetella) also a microchip. They rushed me to the groomers to see if the pink dye washed out. Most of it came out, I still have a little around my ears and on my legs.

I have settled into my foster Mom and Pops already. I am learning how to sleep in a crate, can now use the doggie door (that was easy....I just followed the other Westies), can walk on a leash and do well in the car (I am chauffeured to the park by my foster Mom).

My diet is being changed to the Westie Diet....yum, so good. Every day they find out more adorable things about me. So, keep checking back for photos and more information. They were going to call me Pinky Lee...gads really!

You can sign me PETULA.
