Paddy Bear (now Rocco)

It's a rough life, but someone has to do it. :-)

Hey Westie Rescue,

Just thought I'd give you an update on my new life. Ever since you put me in my new home with my Mom Maria, my life's been really great.

Mom says to thank you for the finding the right man to be in her life (That's me! ) and that makes me a really lucky guy.

Thanks for finding me the perfect family ...... Rocco

Original Story Below

PADDINGTON BEAR at your service....

My owners gave me up cause with the arrival of their third kido, really didn't have anymore time for me. These kind folks promised to find a great new home, with lots of love and time. I am a purebred, recently altered/neutered, 6 yr old, male Westie. I have a wonderful disposition and love just hanging out waiting for tummy rubs. I am such a sweetheart, I like all people and my other foster Westie male and females.

Seems I needed some TLC when picked up. They whisked me away to their great Veterinarian for alter/neuter, teeth cleaning and polishing, shots (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies-3 yr). Now on heartworm and monthly flea medication. Also, have a microchip now as well. So, I am all set for my new forever home. Only thing lacking, are my 'grooming makeover' photos. My Foster Mum says I have way too much fur and I am hard to keep clean...yeah, as if I care! I love taking the long walks twice a day, going to the park on the weekends, riding in the car and just hanging out. Now use the doggie door out to the great fenced backyard, didn't have one previously. Pretty cool, I can investigate any noise outside whenever I want. Like playing with the other Westies here. We share toys, and playing fetch. At night I sleep in a crate/kennel, without a peep. Wake-up refreshed and alert to chase the birds and squirrels at the park.

I would like an adoptive home without 'two legged' wee ones, under 9 yrs old. Been there and done that! Maybe my new 'digs' (no pun intended) will have grass and a place to sun myself? That would be just swell. So, guess I am your Westie.

Sign me....anxious to have my own family again.......
...PADDINGTON BEAR....handsome Westie that I am.
