Here I am with my new Mom & Dad, Steve & Vickie.

I have a Westie brother, and get this, his name is Westie!!!  I am very happy with my new family and they say I am a wonderful addition.

Thank you WRCA.

Love and Wet Kisses!  Brody

Original Story Below

Adorable, huh? It's BRODY here.....

I am a young, think around 1.5 yrs old, small 15.5 lbs, male, just altered, sweet Westie. Was a stray, picked up by animal control....yikes. Previous owner never came, so here I am now in rescue and a loving foster care home. Have all shots (Rabies-1 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), been wormed and got micro chipped. As you can see from my 'first in' rescue photo, there was a pretty extreme grooming makeover. Especially when they put a clip in my fur to keep it from falling in my face. Guess I had never been groomed.....ever! Westies need grooming every 6-8 weeks I have been told.

I like riding in the car, have learned the doggie door no problem I just followed the other Westies here. And, can sleep in a crate at night. Sleeping in my crate makes my house training much easier. But actually I am really smart and a quick learner. Ya, know the phrase.....works for treats? Well, that's me. Have treats.....I will do! Oh, yeah walk on a leash at the park with the other Westies.....that is fun. I get along with both the male and female Westies here in my foster house.

Think I would like to have my very own family, one that is active and will take me along everywhere.....ya know, the beach, mountains, on long walks, to the Starbucks patios (maybe there will be a female Poodle?). Remember, because I am young, I do need daily exercise and would love two walks too. Oh, yeah.....would like a fenced backyard, so I can teach you how to throw my ball. If ya think I am your little man...aaah, I mean Westie, then get in your application. Really would like to settle into my new 'digs', no pun intended (I don't dig), very soon. Just sign me.....thankful and hopeful....BRODY.
