NOEL JOY

Noel Joy   Noel Joy

My pretty new name is NOEL JOY.

These kind and wonderful rescue folks Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States were contact late one evening by a Veterinarian's office, because they knew of their reputation to help Westies In Need. They had received from the SPCA a pregnant female Westie, who had been brought in as a found stray. She had tried to deliver puppies and one was lodged, dead inside. The puppy had been dead for awhile. The attending Veterinarian said if Noel Joy had not been found, she could have only survived about another 2 hours before she would have died. Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States agreed to pay for the emergency C-section, after hours surgeon asking the hospital to take whatever steps necessary to save the Mom.

These photos were taken via a camera phone from a Vet Tech at the hospital. She was resting well with an IV catheter, fluids and antibiotics. The puppies could not be saved. We are making plans to settle her into our excellent foster care. We will have updates very soon on her progress.

This after hours emergency care was very costly. If you can make a donation to help cover the medical bills, that would help. She is a very sweet, young, calm female who will make a wonderful little companion for the right home. Please help and give a true holiday gift.

Very grateful to be alive, NOEL JOY.
