My name is MARCEE...

My short life is a blur, but it is better now! I was turned in to a high kill shelter, estimated age 14 months. These kind Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States folks have given me a great life, now have all vaccinations (Rabies-1yr, DHPP, Bordetella), microchipped and altered. Even had two of my retained baby teeth removed when was put under for spay/alter.

As any very young Westie, am playful, lots of energy, love to run circles in the house. Too quick usually for my foster male and female Westies....who give up trying to catch me. My foster Mom and Pops have done a really good job cause now am house and crate trained, love walking on leash, riding in the car and in the shopping cart at the dog warehouse. Alas, one bad habit...like bringing stuff back into the house or just walking with it for a block or two!! Geez, they are always checking my mouth to see what treasures might be bringing home. Mostly tree twigs, sometimes an acorn or two, bugs, snails....ya know, just dog stuff. Can use the doggie door and seeing how many times can run back and forth through it before my Mom yells...'Hey, cut it out already!' Cause of my high energy level, get 2 walks per day (30-40 minutes each). Very social, love traveling to all sorts of places, meeting dogs and new people. My foster Mom and Pops take me to their favorite outside cafe, just set very still in my own chair.

Other than being darn cute, and aren't all Westies, am gonna want a fenced yard, don't do well with kidos (over 10 yrs). Love the great food here The Westie Diet, yes please want that to continue. Plus guess my new family should go to obedience classes, already know; sit, stay, cookie, bye-bye....that kinda stuff. These rescue folks are gonna be very selective choosing my forever home. So, am I your new fav 'doggie paws'? Get in that application. Wanna send my Santa's Wish List...but Santa won't know my delivery address. Gonna get 'A Wonderful Life'...they promised, MARCEE.
