PLEASE HELP US HELP THIS DOG....

This poor dog was dumped at the shelter by the owner in this horrible condition. Our organization, Westie Rescue of CA & 7 Western States, is committed to help this poor male, altered 5 yr old Westie. The owner had a baby and due to his skin condition (which is NOT human transferable) banished the dog onto an outside balcony. His ears had fly strikes and he was malnourished, based upon his bone structure. He is a sweet, gentle little fella, that is now within our excellent and very experienced foster care. We have developed a proven skin regimen to help dogs recover from such human neglect atrocities. The owner was evicted, moved and dumped the dog at a very high kill shelter.

This dog will remain within our foster care system for approximately 4-5 months or until his condition is controlled. He is receiving daily medicated baths, daily change of bedding, prescription medications and a wonderful nutritional diet— The Westie Diet. The shelter gave vaccinations (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP, Bordetella), was wormed and a microchip. He now has comfy feet p.j.'s (so he won't chew himself) and loves his clean, warm crate to sleep in at night. He likes squeaky toys, chasing balls and being near his special human.

We would appreciate donations to help with his months of rehabilitation, veterinarian care and necessary medications. We care deeply about the breed....even when they are not looking their finest. We will take this 'diamond in the rough' and transform him into the wonderful Westie he is destined to be. Thanks for taking a look at Harry Winston.
