Georgio

GEORGIO here folks......
I Am another one of the Puppy Mill Saved Dogs. Whew, am I thankful. A purebred, male, DOB 03.25.2006, altered and now that I'm cleaned up...as cute as can be! Westie Rescue of CA's wonderful volunteer homes make these transformations happen. Their dedication and patience is priceless to the rescues and our organization.
As were all of the dogs, I was immediately evaluated by a Veterinarian, In-take photos were taken and then off to the doggie spa. Unfortunately, due to the severe mats and open sores on my feet, I had to be shaved. But I came back more comfortable, de-ticked and clean! The next day vaccinations (Rabies-3 yr, DHPP-3 yrs, Bordetella), wormed and microchipped. Teeth cleaned, ears flushed, weight 19.2 lbs, and toenails were cut and cauterized while under for surgery! Food was changed to the healthy The Westie Diet, I am a good eater. My feet are healing and getting better walking on a leash. Each time I am able to go a little farther. Guess I don't see the point unless you are waving a 'treat'. I love the back yard and it's freedom amd I'm still working on outside and inside behaviors. I sleep in my crate/kennel all night, like riding in the car, friendly to other dogs, learning that balls and toys can mean fun.
Are you that special home, who has patience and understanding, likes the accomplishment of good training for dogs? Well, we need your application. This little fella is a wonderful, sweet little Scot. He just needs a chance at a normal, loving home. Won't you help him find that? Just crusin in the yard and basking in the sun, GEORGIO.
