BECKETT

Beckett (Beck) 1009

BECKETT is my new name, but it's okay to call me BECK for short.....

In my short life, (est 1.5 - 2 yrs) seems like may have been a participant on the 'Amazing Race'. You know, the TV show where people travel to the most interesting places? Well, here's where my adventure starts.....some nice folks found me along a deserted stretch of road while in MO on business. So off to the local Vet; no microchip, collar or tags but I was already altered. So maybe somebody loved me once. They made fliers, called Vets, boarding kennels, grooming salons (aaah, guess that was a long-shot cause I hadn't seen one of those for a while) and even placed a 'Lost' ad in the newspaper. Huh, imagine that....nobody was a look'n. Whew, 'cause by that time had wiggled my way into their hearts. Oh boy, I was gonna have a home in CA. Well, seems nobody told the other two older dogs in residence, they were getting a newbie bro. Yikes, were they grumpy when I shoved the stuffed toy in their faces...I just wanted them to play and chase me. Also, cause am young and full of energy, needed a fenced yard and daily exercise. So off I go....a nice volunteer with WESTIE RESCUE OF CA came and got me.

If your look'n, am all set to go to my 'new' hopefully forever home. Was shaved when groomed due to all the mats, but it's growing. All vaccinations (Rabies-1yr, DHPP, Bordetella), wormed, neutered, heartworm test (neg) and now have a microchip. Am a 18 lb bundle of silly, happiness and love to play. And, if you throw it, will play soccer with my front feet. Now totally crate and house trained, love to walk on a leash and go 'bye-bye' in the car. Well socialized with both male and female Westies in foster care, absolutely loves the new food; The Westie Diet. Doesn't do 'off-leash' doggie parks, has selective hearing when it's time to leave! Am learning basic commands; sit, stay, 'no bark' (what a Terrier NOT barking), and come. My new family should take me to basic obedience class....that involves treats right? Can't have a cat friend to torment and with all my energy small kids either. Ideal family, maybe older kids (12 yrs), or single person that makes 'me' a priority. Are you that loving family? Sure hope so....cause really deserve a 'final destination and a winning home'. Get in your application soon. Signing off for now, BECK.
